WIne Tasting Notes.
I read this on one of my favorite blogs and since it's wine related (and funny as hell) I thought I would post it here.
From Estella's blog i can't even float in water this deep
" So 'wine tasting'? Yeah, let's just go ahead and call that 'drinking all day, starting at nine-thirty'. Jesus. I found it increasingly entertaining to think of new ways to describe the wine... For example, I remember gazing around pensively, swirling my glass and declaring the wine within to be 'clammy', 'squishy', 'barkish', 'tiger-like', 'very Gatsby', 'hard to be offended by', 'standoffish' and 'adorable'. I've left out the ones that don't make any sense."
Brilliant! Try some of these the next time someone asks you what you taste.

Meeting of the minds
Sunday evening brought together the core of Vanucci Cellars for a wonderful dinner, some banter about life, and sampling of some pretty decent wines. Don Vannucci, and the Debster, Terry and the witty (oh Dad, not that story again) Carly, along with the ever exciting Ayola Clan (OK who's watching her now?)came by the home of "Zinmaster and the Queen". Dinner consisted of simple yet complex blended flavors. Fennel encrusted BBQ salmon.jpg on a bed of greens, with some garlic potatoes, and accompanied with prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe made for a content smile on all faces. A truly satisfied Brooks (Vanucci Marketing Dept Head - pictured) left after his standard dessert fair of pie and ice cream in "plentiful portions". Maybe Brooks will show us how to upload pictures to this damn post, so people don't think I'm making this crap up!Until next time.

It's not like this has been here for a year!
I can't take it anymore! The constant pressure of trying to find the words the would entice people of the world to come and read the rants of Vanucci Cellars. Brooks has brought us to the verge of computer literacy, if only with a PC, so we at least owe him the dignity of posting a tribute to the hard work that he has contributed to making this and other sites both viable and professional. Keep it up Joe Photo! There's room at the top for both of us.
